About Ed


Ed is currently working with businesses in the emerging legal market for psilocybin mushrooms. Psychedelics have shown great promise in treating mental health issues from PTSD to anxiety and depression. Additionally, like cannabis, providing safe access to mushrooms and other psychedelics to adults for personal for use is the natural right of all Americans. He is an advocate for the California Senate Bill 519 and believes that decriminalizing psychedelics is an important step in ending the failed War on Drugs.


Ed's Bio


Edward Breslin is a native Californian from the East Bay. After a successful career in sales and marketing for traditional business he became a servant-leader in the emerging legal cannabis movement.


Ed is a pioneer in the field of medical cannabis product development to serve the needs of patients and retail consumers. He co-founded the Making You Better Brands product company and established one of the first unionized medical cannabis dispensaries in California.


In a challenging and regulatory environment, he co-owned and operated the Making You Better Brands CBD products factory with various sales and distribution channels throughout the country. The company received national acclaim in the cannabis industry due to its focus on non-activated acidic cannabinoids, aka the micro dose. The Xternal, Nternal, branded products he developed are used daily by Mixed Martial Arts fighters and grandmothers alike.


Ed helped establish the nation's first union and cannabis industry run apprenticeship program at City College in San Francisco. Today he works with government, union and industry professionals developing the California cannabis industry's state apprenticeship program.


Ed is a dedicated educator on the benefits of CBD and its interaction with the biological endocannabinoid system. He periodically teaches at Oaksterdam University on CBD topicals. Ed has successfully partnered businesses with scholarship creation at Oaksterdam to match up brand building with educational opportunity. He is passionate about veterans needs and well known for connecting cannabis businesses with veterans' health groups.


Ed speaks at conferences, trade shows and government meetings on CBD, Cannabis and Hemp product development from his years of experience with a constantly evolving legal, regulatory, and business environment.
